re. leaded gas additives as found at the local parts store. the prime ingredient seems to be some sort of oil. when you figure the price/volume it is clear that i am in the wrong business. real lead is still used in aviation gas. 100 octaine low lead (100 ll) seems to have a LOT more lead than auto gas ever did. the old car buffs like to mix this with modern no lead gas for a 10% mix. (1gal. aviation gas to 9gal unleaded)is this leagl? my guess is we could be drawn and quartered for even thinking about it. also--- consider, where is your exhaust stack in relation to your nose. my nose seems to be just downwind, and since the effects of lead on the human body are well known---- well the choice is yours, your tractors valves etc., or your own health
