I just bought an 841 Ford. The SN reads 841-8 with a diamond before the number 22212. This should be a 1958 841. The diamond means .098 larger bore but is that over the 172 ci or is that how they got the 134 ci up to 172 ci. Also, what does the -8 mean? (it could be a -3) The tractor is on LP gas but I can't tell if it was converted or came that way. Also, it had a sherman over/under transmission at one time but again I do not know if it came that way or not.
