Sorry. I didn't mean to imply that all Texans were crooks. Certainly not. I was just merely telling what had happened. I am sure there are plenty of good people in Texas, and there are plenty of crooks right here in Ohio. What would I have to gain by putting other people down? By saying I am turned off On Texas I mean that I probably will not deal there again, at least with people I do not know. I know a guy down there I bought a tractor from on this last trip and it was what he said it was. With all the tractors elsewhere why risk being burnt again? It seems like I said before it is just plain harder to get a tractor out of that BIG state. Ryan

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
