Ron, I don't know a lot about the economy tractor, but I saw one last summer up in Michigan in my old stomping grounds. The man told me that it was sold by Sear-Roebuck during the 30's. You could buy one with the engine for $395 or one without an engine for $295. The engines were Ford Model A's, so if you bought it without an engine you would have to find one in a junk yard to install. I thought the story was very interesting. Informative also, if true.
