Speedex tractors have been built since 1935 in one form or another. There is a speedex web site (speedex,com) that can give you a history. You probably have a S model. Engine size detimines model, S-17's are 8hp i think, S-23 9 hp and S-24 10hp All have 16" rear wheels but S-23 and 24 have larger tires. Hope this helps Ron
