I rebuilt a 1941 Farmall M. I have to pull start it to get it to run. Once the tractor was running it was running very rough and I could not adjust the settings on the carb to smooth it out. It was blowing smoke out to. I took it for a test drive and when I put it into 5th gear you could hear every cylinder firing, so it must be timed right. If the throttle is set at 2 or 5 the engine still runs at the same speed and very rough. when the engine is not running, fuel drips out of the drip hole at a fast rate. I adjusted the float and now I am having trouble keeping enough fuel in the bowl. So now when it starts it runs for only a few seconds. I would also like to know what all of the adjustments should be on the carburetor for the idlespeeds, the fuel leaning screw and such.
