I had same problem with 1030 Case mechanic told me to take side plate loose and use punch on side of pressure plate and rap . I also loosened bolts on pressure plate and put p oil in. I had a cover gasket leaking and let water in fixed it and end of trouble . I was going to have to spend 2000 to split tractor and parts . glad I got it done ay home more tractor money bob
