you can buy a Delco alternator with internal regulator at Auto Zone for $35. cant beat that. Tell them its for a 1975 chevy truck. Use the wiring diagrams on Bobs page etc. You can do everything yourself. Hardest thing is getting a mount and pulley setup. i will send you a simple drawing.
