A search engine search to other links, provided a few hints that 14 mpg was a real possiblity, but still no specifics. No Budget Rental around here, and Ryder and Penske use either large International's or GMC van front "High Cube" types...no cab over's for rent in this town whatsoever ! I drove one of the Penske High Cube's on a long trip a couple of years ago. It (gas engine, automatic) got 11 mpg empty and 10 mpg with 5,000 lbs. in the box, thru mix of terain...interstate from Beaufort, SC to near Lake Erie.
