Mike, Best first advice: Cancel the paint job. You need to drive the Triple-4 a while, to see what adjustments/possible leaks, may occur. Rushing to the paint, makes it painful to put a socket wrench on a nut, and tear up perfect paint. Hydraulic leaks always seem to "appear" after new paint, on tractors of all color. You have, arguably, one of the best tractors ever built. The standards a joke, in the pull, compared to Row crop models. The Diesel & LPG versions in Row crop, proved more efficient than Gas at the Nebraska Tests, in 1956. Recorded, accurate HP is a grey area, as tests on flat belt performance were often done on models prior to the 1960's. 'Rule of Thumb' was that PTO HP runs higher, but without proper tuning you lose that legendary M-H added power. Access to a dyno may shead more light on the HP of your 444G.Guestimate:52/54. Good luck.
