engine overhaul

I'm shopping around for a 5140 on the net & the one I'm looking at has 4,611 hours on it. I'd like to know from some of you that actually overhaul these tractors, how many hours before a complete overhaul generally? I have a Case 585 I use all the time that has 2200 hours on it and it runs fine.
