drill and easyout the plug, some heat may be needed to get things moving. if cooling system is mt apply some grease to drill bit to keep shavings fromm entering the cooling system, if system is full the fluid coming out will prevent shavings from entering. as for the extractor i've found the tapered square is better than the screw type. hope it helps.
