Not up on that particular tractor but in general the first step is to make sure the fitting isn't cross threaded [way too easy to do]. Next step depends on what kind of internal fitting it has. If it is compression fitting it will have a seperate round brass part slipped over line below the threaded fitting. Make sure this [olive?] hasn't slipped off the line. If it is a flared fitting, the line will tapered out under the nut. Check to see if the flare is not split or unevenly bent. The end should be round and even all the way around the end. Hope this helps.
