There were a number of Leylands and Nuffields sold around here (southwest Washington) in the 70's, as a real aggressive sales guy wanted to get in the tractor business, and those were the only brands he could get a franchise for. From what I've seen, you may be well served to be "tractored out" at present- they didn't seem to hold up very well. My favorite horror story was the guy going down a hill and the steering assembly came apart and he was left holding a steering wheel and shaft that weren't attached to anything (kind of like the old gag with the "stick" on the airplane coming off). I just saw a Nuffield in a boneyard the other day, and was reminded also of how distinctly unattractive they were. IMHO. You Nuffield guys are invited to "let me have it".
