1943. That'd probably be an MC, but I'm not sure. Might be a BO Lindeman too, I'd have to look up the model years to be sure. Biggest expense (and most common wear item) when restoring a crawler is the undercarriage. I'd pay more for a machine with a good undercarriage and a blown engine than I would for a brand new motor and shot tracks. That having been said, MC's and 40's with decent tracks, running with good steering clutches and no major damage run right around $3,000 to $4,000 here in New England. BO Lindeman's (JD's first crawler) are way too collectible to be affordable. Later models may bring a little more if they're in good shape.
