I have also plowed with both and one doesn't do any better than the other. It is how you have the plow adjusted and if you have a good plow to fit your tractor. I have plowed with both on steep hillsides and you need to be careful with both. I have used an IH-H,C, Oliver 880, 88, JD1020 -NF, IH 275, 444, 586, 684,8N,7610 -WF The taller tractors center of gravity are higher and easier to rollover weither wide or narrow.
