I will not let anyone else operate any of my equipment, period. I will not lend out tools, period. I do work for neighbors with my tools or equipment and, depending on my choice, I either expect to be paid or have them help me with something. Having a couple of bad experiences does that to you. Consider the potential liability if you loan out your machinery. Who would get sued if someone got hurt using your stuff? It's scary these days!
