I mostly just read the post here and very seldom post. However, this situation is very must like the situation that I was in. When I moved we had no equipment to work with. I asked to borrowed a neighbors tractor, he said "sure no problem," but it is on empty and could sure use a bath. Well I got the hit. I used about 6 gallons of desiel and returned it full, it was still wet when I drove it across the street. since then I have purchased my own equipment and still continue to collect. Now just borrowing implements that I have not had the cash to get. Always get the same answer when I ask, "yep, sure you can use it, but the oil is really old and needs changing." You get the idea; I have always listened to what he said and brought back the equipment in the same or better shape than when I got it. Fortunitly, nothing has ever broken when I was using it.
