If you already owned the tractor and loader, I would suggest that you get going on it and by the time you have it like you want it, you will pretty well know how your tractor and loader work. But since you would have to rent the tractor, it probably would be better for your brother to have someone with a small crawler or skidsteer loader do the heavy work. There will be pleanty of work for you and your brother finish raking and planting the grass seed, and maybe thinking about putting in a sprinkler system. That is, unless you have a lot of extra time and think it would be fun to run a tractor for a few days..... I do, and that is partly why I have tractors.
