I made mine ,for my FARMALL M The old bracket was 3/8" x1 1/4" steel....Just lay a straight edge on the tractor pulley slide the new alt. to alignment...Measure how long the back piece needs to be ,drill the holes ,weld the two end pieces on (drill those holes first also)...I welded a upright pice at the back,weld about a 1/2" nut at the top of this piece I used a very small turn-buckel,( for belt tension) that you adjust with a wrench.....put a nut on the right hand thread side ,for a jam nut ----you got it.
