Thanks for the help and suggestion.it is appreciated and welcomed. another questions is, i have already removed the inside nut on the shaft but how does the shaft seperate from the gear, is it pressed on. the tire hub is the part of the shaft broke from the shaft exposing the outside bearing. if its not pressed onto the shaft is there something my husband is missing i.e. another nut,lock keys or is it screwed onto the shaft. He says there has to be an easy way to seperate the shaft. thanks again for all you help and suggestions.
