Beaware of this before you decide to put one in, those electric heaters cause the antifreeze to cook and oxidize which causes acid and rots out the rad. If using a block heater regularly make sure you replace the antifreeze every 2 to 3 years. Same thing happens in cars. With these heaters there is no forced circulation so you get localized hot spots in the antifreeze (glycol). Most glycols cannot take high temps without oxidizing into acids. Generally some buffers are added to offset this at engine temps but with block heaters the elements get way hotter than the engine does normally.
