The 3010 was the first tractor that I ever drove and I thought at the time this was the best tractor ever built. I still think it was a very good tractor, but for $7500 and not having a wide front it better have gold plated wheels. We sold one at an auction last fall for $2900 that was in average condition with wide front. I would personally opt for the MM even though I have never drove one, I feel for the dollar, you would be getting a better return for your investment. The John Deere will always have a much higher resale, but you are investing much more money upfront. I'm still a John Deere man, but I would rather have a sore rearend from sitting on a wallet full of money than from a kick in the rearend from spending too much money. krum
