Age has less meaning with heavy equipment, than the shape it's in. That's the going price for a HR20 60" with Selectatilth gear box that's in "excelent" shape around here. I wouldn't buy a field tiller that didn't have Selectatilth gear box!! There's NO comparison between a King Kutter and a Howard!!! The guys that think there is, have NEVER owned a Howard, and probably haven't even ever seen a HR20. If that rotavator has over 50% of the blades left, doesn't leak any place, and runs smooth, with maintance it will out last several King Kutters. I have the next older model of the HR20 that i've used for custom rotavateing for others, and on my own farm now for over 15 years!! It's had the slip clutch plates replaced, washers on the chain cover replaced, blades, and maintance! That's all!! I can't even guess how many times i've hit something that should have broke the thing, but it's built to last!! I believe Howard makes the finest tiller available, they til deeper, and with the Selectatilth option you have a choise of rotor speeds, and that "is" what you want! How big of tractor do you have to run it?? Robert
