The "A" has a little more umph under the hood, but the brakes going down hill ae what concerns me. I have an old "A" John Deere (quite a bit bigger and heavier) we used on a hayride recently, and with the tandem axle 16 foot trailer, hay and people, coming down a fairly steep grade, it almost got away from me (the front end skidded some) I suggest testing whatever you use on a hill with more load than you plan to haul.
