tiny, great advice! i haul some type of equipment almost daily. backhoes, dozers, tractors, or forklifts. i see people hauling things that are not safely secured, it scares me somtimes. i would like to add a couple of experiences i have had that might help haulers out. first, always wire your breakover boomer handle back to the boomer itself. the handles have hole in them for that purpose. i had a boomer pop loose while hauling a 44 massey. that scared me bad! second,be careful when using a cheater pipe when locking down a breakover boomer. i had wet gloves on one time when booming down a farmall m.the pipe slipped out of my hand about the time i got the boomer tight.the pipe went twenty feet in the air, just missing my head. you should have seen the oldtimers at the gas station scatter when a three foot long piece of 2 inch pipe came down! just be careful barry
