This may not relate to your problem, but I have had two motors lock up on me. 1 - 2 stroke motorcycle, sat 3 years, started it ran it for 5-10 mins. Lock up tight as a drum. Turned out I had scorced the cylindar and it required honing to run. engine could be turned backwards by hand, just wouldn't pass bad spot turning in the right direction. Think it was caused by a lack of lubercation in the first few mins of operation. 2 - 72 ford 351M, sat 1 year, Lock up from get go. Pulled pulgs and filled cylinders with pen. oil. Waited 2 days and the hit it with big breaker on balancer bolt. Beleive it may have been a little surface rust locking up rings. Errin
