Better check your state's regulations , seems like they are all different . Illinois' car license allows you only to drive a vehicle 8,000lb and under , don't know other's rules . It seems to me there ought to be some standardization on all this stuff . I'm in Illinois and seems like you can pull or drive any kind of recreation vehicle , boat and etc but when you go to anything else they really stick it to you . I use a semi to haul my tractors to pulls , I'm 75mi from Iowa , Wisconsin and Indiana and trying to find out what I need to be legal is hard to do unless I'm not looking in the right places , but you can take a huge motorhome and boat or SUV in tow and go anywhere with no special license and a real cheap plate , that just burns me .
