I know that this is going off topic but early jet aircraft (B-52 being one of them) were designed with water tanks for injecting around the engines' burner section for cooling purposes. This allowed the engine to run at a faster speed (such as power climbs and full throttle takeoffs) without adding heat (and stess) to the engines. The newer engines have bypassed the water concept by using jet fuel as the cooling agent for full power occations. Just for yall's information.
