Yeah it was a blast,,we were at Racine Wisconsin, the planes were at Johnson Wax's private airstrip and hanger,There were 2 harrier AV8B's a F16 ,a F-14 Tomcat 4 Huey choppers and several prop planes including a old biplane there at the hanger. We had the executive from SC Johnson Wax out there crankin a hand pump to fill the water tank,,was funny seeing those guys in 3 piece suits doing that..I liked the Harriers but I think my fav is still the Tomcat there is just something awesome about launching it and it roaring over you in a full afterburner takeoff,,, I met some great guys one I will remember fondly was the Tomcat Pilot he is gone now, God rest his soul, he was shot down and crashed into the gulf during the war,, he let me sit in his plane while it "warmed up" it was a unbelievable thing to sit there with in it with it running, especially to a 16 year old kid. My dad was a Aircraft Mechanic in the airforce as well and later he worked at Boeing until the layoffs....His primary station was at Offitt SAC AFB ,Omaha Neb ,,he was in during the cuban missle crisis and he was a part of Looking Glass.....Jim
