A 1938 Farmall F20 is "unstyled". Little or no sheet metal, radiator is exposed, steering gear/bolster is exposed, just a "hood sheet" over the engine and a very functional rectangular gas tank. A 1940 Farmall H is essentially the same tractor, but "styled". Gas tank is teardrop shaped, hood wraps around the sides of the engine a little, full grille, nice fenders. So, basically "styled" is with sheetmetal bodywork, "unstyled" is without. Most tractors made the transition right around 1939-1940.
