I think it depends on where you live. I'm in a snow area, and in a heavy snow, steel buildings are the first to go down!! The bolt together steel arch buildings i looked at were rated for a 25 pound snow load. Yes, wet snow will stick to them, and there's possible ice build up too. I wouldn't own a building in my area that was rated less than 40# PSF. I sure as heck don't want to have to go up in the winter and shovel the roof!! Been there done that! Metal roofs in my area always leak when they get old too, my 60'x46' building has metal sideing, and a shingled roof, with a 40-7-10 truss'. The lean to portion is rated a little higher than that.
