Out here it the country (and as I see by some of the nice pictures posted, many of you are not out in the country...) non of that will really make much difference. The alarm? Fire dept is 20 minutes away. Whenever they are called, they will only be here to keep the fire from spreading to other buildings. The one on fire will be gone. Water sprinkler? Most rural folks have a deep well or jet pump with 1" pipe, 40-60# pressure. Sprinkler will be more of a squirt gun, not good enough. Part of the valuables I have in a shed are hay & grain. Sprinkler will ruin that just as much as the fire would. Freezing? Chance of that from end of September through early May here. Would only have the sprinkler available 5 months - if I remember to turn it on, and good chance of water damage when I forget to turn it off... Why bother? Put the money into insurance.... Just my opinion, for my particular needs. Others your idea will make perfect sense for. :) --->Paul

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
