I notice that there is a 'restrictor' in one of the lift arm ports on my Case 1845c skidsteer. What is the purpose of this ? What I figure is that it is to prevent everything slamming to the ground if one were to switch over to 'float' mode with the bucket in the air, causing things to slowly lower instead. The problem I have, as I've been describing in another thread, is that Case changed to a mirror-image control valve at some point -but- in the parts manual (the service manual has not been updated to include this new valve) the restrictor is shown in its original place before things were flipped. So, according to the new parts manual the restrictor is now on the bucket. Is this a mistake or am I missing something (again :-) ? Thanks, Paul
