A source for "natural" fettilizer is your local city sewage treatment works(if your state allows it). Around here they are always looking for a farmer to accept sludge - for free. Some plants dispose of dried sludge, and others have wet sludge. Dry is spread just as fowl manure, the wet is injected into the soil similar to ammonium nitrate. They have thier own trucks for applying the sludge, and usually apply it at night to keep a low profile.
