1. I agree, you could get an MTA without a TA. I have seen them and the different stickers. 2. Independent and live PTO are basically the same thing...you could make the PTO live on an M or Super M by adding a M&W hand clutch, but it was not independent, I agree. Most people call them live. 3. I am still not sure on the fast hitch option...I thought I had read in the Red Power magazine that you could get them with one in the later models. It may have been in 1955 for the leftover 1954's as a previous post had said. I have seen a lot of SMTA's with fast hitches.
