It doesn't have independent pto (I wish) - the model number CA222B to the local ford guys indicates it was probably a county or state tractor sometime in it's life with a 'transmission pto and 6/2 transmission. The guess is that it's cheaper to build a single stage clutch-6/2 transmission tractor than anything else, so to make low bid they built it like this. That might explain some of that 'orange primer' I ran into scraping on it to get the model number/serial number. Oh well, it's cheaper to mow with the diesel anyway. I was mainly after something that would start easily in the winter. thx, Bob
