I suspect that the Ford 8N has had more engine "upgrades" than any other make. It started back when Ford was still making them. Go to the link below to see. Then you might want to look at John Smith's show pictures to see some modern conversions. Use the following URL; http://home.att.net/~jmsmith45/optgray.htm Near the bottom (BIG page) is Marvin Baumann's 8N with a 351 V8 (I don't know if it is the Ford or Chevy - he has done both). He also has put a Chrysler 318 in one. His work is immaculate!! REAL show pieces! If you look at the bottom of the page there are links to John's other show pictures, where you will see other 8N conversions. There is a company that makes weldments for such conversions for the 8N. RATS!, at least there was - I just looked in my N-Newsletter and didn't see the add. If you are intrested I will look in my older copies and give you the phone number. Enjoy, Larry
