Pete, I'm backing up G-MAN's comments. I hay all summer from a 4020 pulling a 566 baler,702 rake, and a Heston 1007 mower. The tractor is a diesel wide front, and even though its a bit more HP than your looking for, I have to praise these 20 series tractors Deere produced back then. The 4020 has given us no down time in the last three years. It recieves one oil change in the spring and we run it every day weather permitting. Last I looked the hour meter was above 7000. And working with a custom hay outfit, these Deere's are the best bang for the buck.
