Norman --- It sounds like you have a good understanding of what you want to do......I don't know anything about a Cockshutt,but they all should wire about the same......I would use a Delco 10SI alternator (change to a 1 1/2" -2' alt. pully)....they have the 12v regulator ,built in....you don't need your 6v regulator....take it off and put it on the shelf with the 6v generator....I would then use the directions for converting the FARMALL M ......
