How about using the fan from an old windmill. You could hook it up to the pto shaft and it would keep you nice and cool! If you have one of the newer 1000 rpm pto's you might even get airbourne ;^) Seriously, That would a pretty big project, I suspect you would actually have to draw it out on a paper grocery bag or something. I just remembered the tool box project from my Junior High shop class. I think it was the first thing I ever made that was actually useful other than the clay ashtrays.
