Jerry: I never had any bad diesel fuel but some have had bacteria in the newer fuel so that it plugs up very small passage ways..etc. Next time ya clean fuel system, get fresh fuel from another proven good supplier. Eliminate that possible cause.. By the way, I had a 3 cylinder Perkins maybe 22 years ago in a MF crawler\loader. Had lots of guts for just 152 cubes. Started on first full turn so fast ya hardly heard the starter noise. Great engine back then. G.
