This isn't to do with regular tractors, but, how about head lites on riding lawn mowers......? On the other issues, haven't found too many that are realy useless, all have a function in the right circumstances....even the "bumpers"! On My tactors with "tin" grills, I fabricate a "grill guard from three inch angle, mount, with pipe uprights to weld ells and a cross piece at the top, and one in the middle......looks good and is quite serviceable to keep things form getting bent, [try leaving your tractor in a coral with a bunch of cows for a day....you will soon find out where dings and dents come from]! Have added a few, what I think are serviceable gadgets to my tractors; like grease gun holders, small storage box on the inside of the cab to hold earplugs,gloves and coffee cup, piece of grating along the side of the engine to be able to stand on while fueling tractor [ten inches wide by two and a half feet long] something for loose or 'too heavy' mufflers.....use half inch rod from the top corners of the cab straighr out to the muffler pipe with a clamp, that will steady the whole thing and take the strain off the manifold! Modified battery boxes and mounts, even improved steps, oooh boy..... now you got me started.......have a gooder, R.E.L.
