Hello John in Maryland, We have bought 2 tractors from the internet. One from eBay, and one via email. Both were good experiences. First thing I'd say to do is ask all the questions you can upfront. If the seller is hesitant to answer then there must be a reason. Second thing I learned the hard way is to get good pictures, and as many as possible. While both of our tractors run like tops, I might have thought a little harder on my first buy if I had seen a few more shots of it. Looks like we are about to sell one of our tractors and I will do that via internet. I'll employ what I learned and follow that old creed- "Good business benefits both parties." Ask a ton of questions, get a ton of photos, trust the other guy to be honest and go by your gut. Hope this helps. Mike
