I've done both. I have a Ford 850 the I put on Dearborne loader on later, and a JD 4020 that came with with a Ford Loader. I've had more trouble with the Ford Tractor w/Dearborne (Ford) loader that was made for this type tractor then the JD with the Ford loader. You add the right loader it will work. But it seems to cost a lot more to add a loader then to buy them together. If buying used get them together. The bugs are usualy worked out. Buying new doen't matter except for the cost. Snow blades are a differant matter. I wouldn't put a bade on my pick up on a bet. If I want to blade something I'll use a tractor.
