Matt, If the Oliver lifts and lowers the loader and only lifts the haybine. Are the couplings on the Massy and Oliver alike? Is the ball check opening when coupled together? You can plumb a pressure gauge into the line at the cylinder and check if the valve is reliefing enought pressure. The weight should not have that much effect on the lowering unless the line is restricted. Hard to say with out actually checking. Let me know what happens. good luck.
