I did see one commercial sometime back where the engine was on the dyno and they put the additive in and ran it. They then removed the oil and the horsepower increased! Well I know for a fact the oil pump draws horsepower and disabling it will give back some horsepower. Another thing, if the engine was over filled with oil that to would give back a few ponies once removed. As for the free wheeling engine with the pan off, wasn't that a Ford engine? How did the hydraulic lifters stay pumped up? Don't think that engine came with solid lifters. Engine could of had a hidden pressurized oil system. Wouldn't need but a few lbs. of pressure to keep it alive under no load. If it's to good to be true/ well you know.
