Not so quick, My father and I have used something for about 20 years now. He treated a car that my mother and another friend drove from just north of nashville up to louiville or somewhere in ohio. On the way back the oil pump sheared where it connects to the distrubutor. They drove on down the interstate to the next exit. 2 or 3 miles. No mechanic at the gas station and was told the next exit down had a mechanic. They got back in and drove 4 miles to the next exit. He told them the motor was shot because they drove with no oil pressure. Lifters rattling big time let him know there was no oil pressure. My dad picked the car up. Put in new oil pump. The owner drove it for two more years and never made any repairs. Never smoked, spit or chewed... If oil alone will protect a motor then dump your oil, drive your car, send me the video. I'd love to see it.
