If they worked, why wouldn't everyone have one?

If they worked, why wouldn't they be able to scientificly explain how it works?

Here's what happens - they sell 100, and of those, 25 people drive more carefully after installing it, as they want to 'see' if it works. So, they save gas by driving more carefully, and report how wonderfully the pile of junk works! So others buy the crap, and some of them drive more carefully because they are thinking about it, and - the cycle repeats itself.

It's junk.
