Yep I tried them, way back in 1981. I had a 74 Chevy van. I checked the gas mileage on 180 mile trip and got 13 mpg. I then installed the magnets and a few days later, on the same route, I only got 12 mpg. The magnets WERE removed. I've still got them around here somewhere. Wanna buy 'em??? Make you a heck of a deal.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
